Isle Of Eriska Lodge Review, Argyll, Scotland
Some elements of the resort are drained, dog-eared and would profit from attention. The view from considered one of our windows (between our bed room/dressing space/bathroom we had four) was of a roof area where sections of piping, a tarpaulin, and so forth had been left by builders. Silk wallpaper in an higher hall was peeling, a curtain in our room was torn vertically on the forefront and the piano’s foot pedals have been thick with dust. On arrival there have been cigarette ends strewn on the gravel at the entrance door, a discarded apple core in one planter and nonetheless the case the next morning when pointed out to employees. It would have been useful to have had a notice to run the hot water as in the end advised for 10 minutes to permit it to journey from its distant source. We concluded that hot water had run out, not good for a 5-star hotel!
I assume the individual booking the rooms ought to be given one of the best one. I would not have been happy if I had to stay within the first room that was given to me. It was beautiful, gracious, and personal with plenty of space to roam. For this value point the owners want to invest some money into making the resort spotless and top quality.
E.g. the gardens need weeding, the home windows are painted shut. Aliaster the manager we met was excellent and the workers were on the whole very pleasant and accommodating. I like the area and the history of the place and the peace. Four-course dinner menus change every day and have the likes of guinea fowl, halibut and Scotch beef.
Food & Drink
There are areas of the resort thay are a wee bit drained for sure but the staff and the food keep it at 5 star levels. Beautiful location, your own island to discover. We loved this place and would travel to Scotland again just to stay right here. We enjoyed the restaurant, the croquet pitch, high tea, the indoor swimming pool, free mountain bikes and the cottage. We thoroughly take pleasure in our keep on the scenic Isle of Erika and highly suggest this resort. The roads leading to the lodge and the hilltop accommodation had been very poor.

- The bedrooms have been redecorated in a successful and good, if slightly formulaic, mix of contemporary and conventional.
- Sorry, reservations for greater than 30 nights aren’t possible.
Stayed in hilltop room – very comfy, nice view, scorching tub. The food was generally excellent, with a few of it being wonderful. Great location, providing pretty walks across the island and with lots to do within the vicinity. The meals within the lodge was amazing and so tasty and price it. The employees were nice and the service was spot on. The room we had was extra like a set and was very nice.
House Guidelines
The restaurant staff were pleasant and educated. The food was superb even for Michelin normal. Unfortunately the decor throughout the lodge was less than commonplace. There have been a number of walls that had been a multitude, in want of a good lick of paint. Also the primary physique of it might be cleaner, the steps have been regularly soiled in want of vacuuming and there was a useless wasp on the touchdown window sill the whole time we had been there!
The largest room on the bottom ground is the restaurant, which combines a wood panelled primary room that provides a surprisingly modern feel with a brilliant and ethereal conservatory extension. At the height of luxurious, the Isle of Eriska Hotel stands on an enchanted non-public island, situated on the west coast of Scotland. It is surrounded by stunning expansive views of the Loch Linnhe and the majestic Morvern mountains.
Isle Of Eriska Lodge Spa & Golf
Fine dining possibility in major house was expensive with 2 teenagers at c£380 with drinks. Went for spa restaurant possibility which was a riot. Short staffed, burger and fish and chips took seventy five minutes, only 2 other tables. Waiting staff had been good but just one chef on and after 1 hour, advised us they couldn’t find any mussels to make certainly one of our main programs. In the top, meal and drinks were supplied free of charge which was the best consequence – however – for value of keep for one night it was not excellent.
